No. The certified food protection manager requirement is set at the state level (Indiana Code 16-42-5.2 and 410 IAC 7-22), so it applies the same way whether you’re in Anderson, Fishers, Noblesville, Carmel, Westfield, or Indianapolis, or anywhere in Madison, Hamilton, Delaware, or Marion County. Local health departments enforce the rule, but they don’t set separate certification requirements of their own.
